As the adults went through 4 weeks of on boarding in Texas, the kids went though Kids On Boarding (KOB). It's an incredible, intentional program to prepare the kids for living abroad on a ship. Their classes included discussion about cultures, forming their world view, talking to and listening to God, becoming a "third culture kid," and many other things. I was especially proud of my kiddos who were the oldest ones in the program. They were so helpful with the younger children and participated well, even if it meant playing with play kitchens, baby dolls and coloring! On their last day, they hosted an open house to show off all that they learned and created along the way! It was a special time to see the whole on boarding community come together to celebrate the kids and affirm their role in this ministry.
